On 30th June, the world's first  catalytic cracking unit with capacity of 3.0 MTA applying high efficient catalytic cracking technology (RTC, or DCC Pro) developed by RIPP started up successfully in SINOPEC Anqing Petrochemical Company, ranks the largest in China. It is also the first commercial application of TSC-R1 catalyst developed by RIPP. The unit came to stable running within one week, so did the catalyst reaction activity, remarkably increasing the benefits of the company.

As the commercial catalytic cracking technology with the highest propylene yield in the world, RTC technology has filled the gap in propylene and ethylene production from residue, opened a new page for the transition of petrochemical refinery to chemical refinery, and started the novel era for tailor-made production and efficient energy use, setting a solid foundation for sustainable development of the industry in the future.
