The Carbon and Hydrogen Editorial Board Meeting and 2026 Carbon-Hydrogen Science Forum were held in Beijing recently. The event was co-hosted by RIPP and the State Key Laboratory of Petrochemical Molecular Transformation and Reaction Engineering. The conference was supported by the Petroleum Processing Branch of the Chinese Petroleum Society, the Professional Committee of Hydrocarbon Resource Evaluation, Processing and Utilization of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, the Carbon Neutrality Committee of the Chinese Petroleum Society, and the Beijing Energy and Environment Society.
Academicians He Mingyuan, Han Buxing, Xie Zaiku, Nie Hong, and Lin Wenfeng attended the meeting, together with Li Mingfeng, President of RIPP, Lin Wei, Vice President of RIPP, editorial board members of the journal, and researchers in relevant fields.
Themed “Strengthening Foundations, Striving for Excellence: Building a World Class International Academic Journal”, the Carbon and Hydrogen Editorial Board Meeting invited more than 100 editorial board members participate both on-site and online. The meeting was chaired by Editor-in-Chief Han Buxing.
Nearly 200 distinguished guests and representatives attended The 2026 Carbon-Hydrogen Science Forum. Under the theme “Green Carbon and Green Hydrogen: Building a New Energy System Together”, the forum brought together top experts and scholars in carbon-hydrogen science, energy and chemical engineering from both home and abroad. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Han Buxing. Mr. Li Mingfeng and Mr. He Mingyuan delivered speeches successively.
